At ICoMEIA 2024, we maintain a robust and stringent peer review process to ensure the quality and credibility of the manuscripts we consider for publication. Our peer review process involves the following key steps:

1. Initial Evaluation
– Upon submission, all manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the editorial team to ensure they comply with our submission guidelines and meet the basic criteria of relevance, originality, and scholarly merit.

2. Assignment of Reviewers
– Submissions passing the initial screening are then assigned to experts in the field for thorough evaluation. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, impartiality, and absence of conflicts of interest.

3. Anonymous Review
– Our review process follows a double-blind peer review system, where both the identities of the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential to ensure unbiased evaluations.

4. Review and Evaluation
– Reviewers critically assess the manuscripts based on various aspects including methodology, significance of findings, clarity of presentation, and adherence to ethical standards. They provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvements.

5. Decision Making
– Based on the reviewers’ feedback, the editorial team deliberates on the manuscripts to make informed decisions. The possible outcomes include acceptance, revision, or rejection.

6. Author Notification
– Authors receive detailed feedback and editorial decisions, along with reviewers’ comments, to aid them in revising their manuscripts, if required.

7. Revision and Final Decision
– Revised manuscripts are reassessed to ensure that the authors have adequately addressed the reviewers’ concerns. The final decision regarding acceptance for publication is made based on the revisions and adherence to our publication standards.
